If you’re seeing pop-up ads telling you that your device has a virus, that you need a VPN, or that you must enter your credit card details. don’t fall for it! These are just scare tactics used by aggressive advertisers to trick you into downloading their software or giving away personal information.

You Don’t Have a Virus!

The ads are designed to make you panic, but your device is fine. Close the ad immediately and do not interact with it. These pop-ups are just trying to convince you that you need to install something unnecessary.

Why Does My Antivirus Flag It?

If your antivirus warns you about a suspicious site, it’s likely because of the way these ads open new tabs or trigger forced redirects. This doesn’t mean the website itself is harmful, it’s just how pop-up ads work.

What Should You Do?

  • Close the pop-ups immediately.
  • Never enter personal or payment details.
  • Don’t install anything from these ads.

Your device is safe. Just be cautious and avoid falling for these tricks!

I appreciate the free episodes but i have to click things multiple times because it keeps opening unrelated tabs, not very user friendly and dangerous at worst considering steven universe is a kids show and children are very gullible. i can deal with tons of adds off to the side or ones similar to youtube but this is a little bit ridiculous

We totally get it the extra clicks and random tabs are annoying, and it’s even more concerning for a kids’ show like Steven Universe where little ones can be really trusting. Unfortunately, these are the only ad types we can use right now. We’d love to switch it up or go with something like YouTube video ads, but the way our site’s built and the cost involved just don’t let us do that.
